NHMUK Types
Detail images of the primary and secondary type specimens, of American Phlebotominae, held in the collections of the Natural Histoty Museum, London (NHMUK). All photographs were taken at the NHMUK by Dr Paloma Shimabukuro, during April & May 2015. Dr Shimabukuro would like to thank the British Council for funding her visit through their Researcher Links initiative.
Photographs were taken with an Olympus BX63-CBH microscope equipped with a DP73 camera. The images were edited in the Cellsens software and stacked images were produced by HeliconFocus 6 software.
